Alternate Propulsion Motor Company (APMC) is a start-up organization that offers gas-electric hybrid engines as drop in replacements for traditional internal combustion engines (ICE). The Concept As fuel prices rise, Automotive companies are now turning their focus onto fuel efficiency. Auto manufacturers are coming out with new vehicles that are gas-electric hybrids which reduce gasoline consumption and boost miles per gallon. While that is fine for people who want new cars, others may be very happy their current vehicles and just wish they got better mileage and were kinder to the environment. APMC will fill this gap by offering alternate propulsion, gas-electric drive systems for existing vehicles. A conversion to an alternate propulsion drive system will reduce our customer's fuel expenses, reduce harmful emissions and help reduce our dependence on foreign sources of oil. The Management Team APMC has a strong management team that will allow them to execute on this exciting idea. APMC has two partners, Dave Seff, and Eliot De Leon. Dave has a background of Computer and Electronic Engineering and many years experience in manufacturing and management. He will be overseeing the research and development and manufacturing. Eliot's background is in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. He will also be overseeing research and development with the focus on customer experience. The incredible breadth of skill sets and knowledge that the management team possesses will allow APMC to accomplish their lofty goals of over $10 million in sales. APMC is an exciting opportunity that will address the unmet need for providing the fuel efficiency of newer vehicles to vehicles that were designed during a time when the cost of fuel was less of a concern. This distinct but complimentary service will have benchmarked customer service, something that the industry is not known for having. APMC has forecasted sales of $9.1 million for year one, $11.3 million for year two, and $13.3 million for year three.
